Who we are

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF) at Connecticut College is a student-led organization which is part of a larger body that exists at colleges and universities across the country. We are a non-denominational group that seeks to find truth in the Bible and explore God. We welcome and encourage questions from everyone.

What we do

We are an active body of believers that strives to discover the meaning of the Bible, the relevance of God in our lives, and how we ought to interact with our community and world. Our primary activity is weekly Bible studies, which are student-led discussions, open to all students with diverse beliefs and opinions. We pray together regularly, hold informal worship services, provide rides to church, participate in off-campus IVCF events, do community service, participate in social justice activism, and sponsor campus-wide events that promote discussion and consideration of Christian issues.

What we stand for

Our ultimate mission is to help students know Christ. Underneath our overarching goal lie the following objectives: to support one another in our faith by maintaining an intimate and prayerful community; to express the love of Christ through serving one another, our campus, and our global community; to be a respected and recognized group on campus that reaches out to people of all faith backgrounds.

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 8:38
